Media We Host

During the summer of 2002 a Media server was placed on the Digital Dakota Network and made available to trained South Dakota educators.

This media server is available for live streaming media events as well as on-demand video. The on-demand media is either downloaded to your local computer or network, or streamed from the server to your local computer.

This media service will assist educators in the presentation of their course and it provides another method to engage students by facilitating learning, communication and collaboration.

The media service allows teachers to enhance existing (distance or in classroom) education courses by putting course content online to be viewed during school or at home.
